Omer Fast in Conversation with Rod Dickinson

Join us at the South London Gallery to hear Omer Fast in conversation with artist Rod Dickinson. 

Nostalgia, a new three-part film installation by Fast, depicts a migrant from dystopian Britain seeking asylum in Africa. Adapted from a true story, this narrative is presented along side an extract of original footage and a dramatisation of an encounter between the artist and a person seeking asylum in Britain.

Drawing on ideas of recollection, displacement and loss in a film narrative this will be an opportunity for a rare insight into the work though a discussion between two artists with shared concerns.
