Seminar: A View - Artist Prints & Print Portfolios: 21 November 2009

Artists are increasingly invited by galleries and producers to make limited edition prints that are often presented as portfolios. These portfolios are available to buy and are developed as part of fundraising strategies.  A plethora of prints are therefore available on the market, many are beautifully conceived and printed through
collaborations with print workshops and master printmakers.  With so many available where is a good place to start?  This event will present A View - a selection of works developed by those who have a real passion for print. 

 Jane Simpson, who has developed portfolios such as The House of Fairy tales and Cubitt portfolios, will lead a discussion with artist Adam Dant, also specialist print makers, Coriander Press; and framers John Jones.  Following lunch there will be the opportunity to view a wide selection of prints including those produced by Whitechapel, Iniva, Spike Island, Studio Voltaire, Cubitt and Cullinan and Richards.
