Visits — Hepworth Wakefield & Yorkshire Sculpture Park

The Hepworth Wakefield
6 August 2011 11:00 — 16:00
The Hepworth 1 Wentworth Terrace, Wakefield WF1 3QW

Opening in May, The Hepworth Wakefield is be Yorkshire’s inspiring new art gallery.
Following our hard-hat visit of the site last year, we are delighted to invite members back for a tour of the new gallery and opening shows, including Eva Rothschild.

Following this, we will make the short journey to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park to see an extraordinary body of new and recent work by the renowned Spanish artist Jaume Plensa. Sensory exploration is actively encouraged in this vibrant exhibition which includes a 50-metre curtain of poetry made from suspended steel letters.
